Quilts and Comforters

At Aussie Wool Quilts we understand that people have different requirements
in their varying environments. Therefore we offer four different choices.
There is:
. The extra light summerweight (250 g/m2)
. The two blanket weight (500 g/m2)
. The three blanket weight (625 g/m2)
. The four blanket weight (750 g/m2)

Aussie Wool Quilts were the first to develop the famous 'Duo Quilt' where each
half of the quilt has a different warmth factor. This works very well where couples
do not feel the cold to the same degree.

The super soft wool enclosed in the luxurious sateen covers makes the perfect sleeping companion. Our quilting pattern ensures drape-ability and no movement of fibre.

Underblankets

Our underblankets or mattress pads were originally developed with the allergy
aspect in mind. To eliminate any dust problems, the wool has to be fully enclosed. It has to be free of any synthetics, resins or adhesives. The underblankets have to be thick to act as a barrier between the customer (allergy sufferer) and the mattress which may contain such irritants. Our underblankets have 1100 g/m2 of layered wool enclosed in luxurious cotton sateen. They are pure cloudlike luxury.

Pillows

Our pillows are constructed with pure layered wool. The fibre cannot shift
or clump. We provide four different thicknesses. Thin, Standard, Thick and Super

We also make Tri-pillows (boomerang shape), European pillows 65cm x 65cm or any other size you may require.

Protectors

Due to increasing customer demand for more natural products, we developed
our pure cotton protectors. They cover the wool pillows and strap over the
underblankets. They are amazingly soft and fully machine washable - Cold
Water - Wool Cycle. Because they are pure cotton, you won't loose any of the
benefits of the wool beneath.

In keeping with Aussie Wool Quilts tradition, no chemicals or synthetics are
used in the manufacture of these protectors.

Machine washable wool quilts

Finally - a machine washable Aussie Wool Quilt! This quilt is ideal for nursing homes or children who may have the occasional accident. The same care has been taken in the development and subsequent manufacture of this new product that the traditional Aussie Wool Quilt is famous for.

The structure of the wool in this product has been modified to make it shrink resistant. We therefore don't recommend this product for severe chemically sensitive people.

Futons/Mattresses

100% Pure New Wool Fill - 100% Pure Cotton Cover

These futons are fully hand made and are buttoned the old fashioned way with pure sheepskin "fluff-kins". They are luxuriously comfortable to sleep on.

Bed Linen

Due to the difficulty in obtaining Super King and Continental King quilt covers, we now offer our customers pure cotton bed linen. We have two different designs to choose from - both are cream in colour and the fabric weave gives you either floral or check design. The flat and fitted sheets are plain cream in colour. Our Queen and King fitted sheets have a generous 45cm skirt to fit today's deeper mattresses.

Sleeping Bags

This is pure luxury. The base you sleep on is padded with 1100gr/m2 of pure new wool, and the top is filled with 500gr/m2. The outer lining is made of durable pure cotton drill, and the inner lining is super soft pure cotton flannel. The size is extremely generous and a pilow is attached. It is zipped on two sides and can be opened for warmer nights. Our pure wool sleeping bags are not suitable for hiking because of size and weight, but they provide an instant comfortable and warm bed when camping, caravanning or staying in cabins. They are available in Navy or Maroon.

Our sleeping bags are environmentally friendly, hypo allergenic and machine washable.

Pet Bedding

Our pet beds are filled with pure new wool and covered in lasting pure
cotton drill fabric. They come in 3 sizes and are available in Navy, Maroon and Fuchsia Pink. Due to the natural properties of wool they feel warm, but won't overheat. Your pets will love their bed.
